The U19 and U17 will compete for the "Kreissparkasse Biberach Cup". As the main sponsor, the Kreissparkasse Biberach has been supporting the International Biberach Easter Tournament for years and thus makes a great contribution to the organization of the tournament.
We would like to thank Kreissparkasse Biberach for their long-standing and loyal support and are looking forward to the "Cup der Kreissparkasse Biberach" again this year.
All tournament matches will be played in Biberach an der Riß in five modern sports halls. Each team will play at least four games of 30 minutes each - including one-minute team timeouts starting in the quarterfinals. All this spread over three days will make every handballer's heart beat faster.
In the tournament of the U19 you can expect a playing time of 2 x 20 minutes - with additional half-time break and the possibility of team timeouts.
Eligible for the IBOT 2024 are the following age groups:
U19: 2005/2006 || U17: 2007/2008 || U15: 2009/2010
If there are more registrations than places, we will set up a waiting list with latecomers!
The small print ...
1. Each team must have a responsible guardian, who can also represent the parental authority in case of underage tournament participants in case of doubt. Teams arriving without a responsible guardian will not be allowed to enter the tournament quarters.
2. Water-soluble adhesives are allowed in three halls (WLH, - PG and Mali Hall), but not in the WG Hall and BSZ Hall. Violators in the latter hall may be penalized with loss of game or team's tournament exclusion. Likewise, any cleaning costs incurred will be charged to the team causing the violation. The first named team will provide the game ball.
3. The game will be played according to the rules and regulations of the IHF, but without time-out at 7m and without time-out / team-time-out in the group and placement games. Exceptions are quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals, where each team has one team time-out. Substitutions may be made at any time.
4. The rule 8:10/d is excluded from the tournament rules. Grossly unsportsmanlike conduct according to Regulation 8:9 a-f will be punished by disqualification. As usual, the penalty does not entail a suspension from the game. Grossly unsportsmanlike conduct according to Regulation 8:10 a-c is punished with a blue card and automatically results in a match suspension for the time being. The tournament committee decides on the further duration of the penalty.
5. The rule "injured player" is excluded. Injured players do not have to rest three attacks.
6. A seventh field player (without marking) may be used only in the tournament of the mA as well as wA!
7. The following age groups are valid for the individual age groups:
U19 2005/06
U17 2007/08
U15 2009/10
The team manager must ensure that only players with a valid playing permit for the respective club/team at the start of the tournament are used in the tournament. We reserve the right to check passports.
The playing time for all games (wB, mB, wC, mC) is 1 x 30 minutes. A time-out is available to the teams in the quarter-, half- as well as in the final. In the A Youth competition, the game time is 2 times 20 minutes with a half-time break of 5 minutes. The teams have one time out per half time.
9. The first named team has the throw-off and plays from the timekeeper's table from left to right. If there is a tie in jerseys, the first named team shall change playing attire. If a team plays with a different jersey color than specified in the game plan booklet or has no jersey color specified, they are required to change in case of doubt. If a game cannot be started due to improper uniforms, the team that would have been obligated to change will lose the game.
10. A player may only play in one team within one age group.
11. For each team a registration form (online) has to be filled in, on which name, date of birth, passport number and jersey number of the respective player as well as all attendants sitting on the bench have to be registered. The players must wear the once chosen shirt number for the whole tournament!!! For each team there must be a responsible coach who can be reached at any time via his cell phone.
12. For the evaluation first the points, then the goal difference and then the number of more scored goals are used. Finally, the lot decides. If two or more teams have the same number of points, the direct comparison decides. If there is a tie here, the entire group table will be used according to the above criteria.
13. If a match in the intermediate rounds and placement matches ends in a draw, the decision will be made immediately by a seven-meter shootout. In the final matches for 3rd and 1st place there will be an extra time of 1 x 5 minutes.
14. Appeals and referee appointments are not negotiated.
15. Television or video transmissions may be made without prior notice. With the registration, the participating club agrees that without further permission of its, sound and image recordings can be published.
... without YOU our tournament does not work!
The field of participants has always been top-class in the past 20 years:
National youth teams from Germany, Austria, Romania, Lithuania, Ireland and Switzerland as well as many national and international top club and selection teams make the IBOT one of the best-attended youth handball tournaments in Germany!
On the side of the referees, this is also fully true - from all over Germany, high-class teams, often for many years, travel to Biberach to the IBOT.
The referee must be in possession of a valid referee license and should have experience on association level if possible. You should whistle at least four games (30 minutes each) per day. Of course, we are especially pleased when well-rehearsed teams register together for participation in the IBOT.
In order to further improve the quality of the referee, you should also bring the willingness, as in previous years, over all three tournament days a total of about three hours to lead the game at the referee. Not only the players will thank you, but also you will see the game from a completely different perspective and have the opportunity to further improve the cooperation between referee and referee.
Besides a lot of fun and exciting games we offer the referees the following at the IBOT:
- 7,50€ (10€ U19) per game allowance as referee
- Overnight stay/breakfast in the tournament quarters (school)
- Free entrance to the players parties
- IBOT-Shirt
"Since 2012, the IBOT is the only chance to qualify for the 3rd league junior squad besides the youth tournament in Menden!"
