The field of participants has always been top-class in the past 20 years:
Teams from Germany, Switzerland, Netherland and more European countries as many national and international top club and selection teams make the IBOT one of the best-attended youth handball tournaments in Germany!
On the side of the referees, this is also fully true - from all over Germany, high-class teams, often for many years, travel to Biberach to the IBOT.
The referee must be in possession of a valid referee license and should have experience on association level if possible. You should whistle at least four games (30 minutes each) per day. Of course, we are especially pleased when well-rehearsed teams register together for participation in the IBOT.
In order to further improve the quality of the referee, you should also bring the willingness, as in previous years, over all three tournament days a total of about three hours to lead the game at the referee. Not only the players will thank you, but also you will see the game from a completely different perspective and have the opportunity to further improve the cooperation between referee and referee.
Besides a lot of fun and exciting games we offer the referees the following at the IBOT:
- 7,50€ (10€ U19) per game allowance as referee
- Overnight stay/breakfast in the tournament quarters (school)
- Free entrance to the players parties
- IBOT-Shirt
